Jankibai tells Hirabai not to emotionally blackmail Laxmibai into getting Gangadhar married again. Jankibai and Nelson make plans to destroy Laxmibai. Moropant worries that Laxmibai has to undergo such tribulations. Laxmibai tells Moropant that to save Jhansi from the British, she has decided that Jhansi will have an heir and for that Gangadhar will have to remarry. Nelson visits Gangadhar and tells him that Satara and Sambalpur were annexed as there was no heir in those states. Nelson tells that he is sure that Jhansi will definitely get an heir.
